when I read the feedback about A-Data on newegg, it's dud sometimes (I had bad experience with their 150x cards, while 2GB 50x is still fine after 2 years)
I have another 16GB from Topram (same manufacturer as A-Data, still works) and Patriot (I had happy experience with their 4GB 133x SD)
