basic help please

While trying to install a program, i was asked to put the key in the folder
my windows mobile based device---->windows

I just don't have a file called windows and the computer won't let me make one.

Do others have this file? If so, am I just being a moron and can't see it?

Please HELP!!!

Thanks

I'm guessing the program wants you to copy a file to that folder? You should be able to do that pretty effortlessly using the desktop Windows Explorer. You should be able to navigate to that folder from Windows Explorer with the device connected. It should be in the following path:
\My Computer\Mobile Device\My Windows Mobile-Based Device\Windows

I'm sure it wants you to put the file in the Windows folder. There is a Windows folder there, at least in WM5. On my X51v with WM5, I can't see the Windows folder from Windows Explorer on my desktop computer but I can see it with Total Commander on my PPC. On your PPC, use TC or the built-in File Explorer to move the file to the Windows folder.
