EB Case Now Available

I got my first X30 case from these guys and it was fairly decent (tho' come to think of it the magnets started migrating about 13 months after i purchased. but they did give me a discount on my next purchase for 3 months).

Anyway they got a 210 magnetic flip case that seems comparable to the forthcoming Sena case. They both cost $50 (Sena's doing an early bird Discount for $40).

Anyone have any thoughts on the differences between EB and Sena?

Thanks;

I've used both in the past and thought highly of each. Used the EB one with the iPaq 2200 and found it to be good quality and durable.

Used the Sena one with my Dell x51v, can say the same of it. The only complaint I had is that the arm of the belt clip eventually broke on it. Never did bother with a new belt clip because I bought the 210! :D

Is anyonme using the EB case for their ipaq 210. I like the looks of this and the Sena. I have used both in the past on other models and am probably going to go with the EB case.

I went with Sena

zacksba;

I did end up with the Sena one and while good generally, i still have some issues.

Unlike the EB Cases one i had for my Axim, the magnets on the iPaq 210 are still in place nearly a year later.

My major complaint is that there are threads the come off the edge of the case. And most often around the screen. This leads to extra 'dust' and stuff on and around the screen.

Additionally the fit/cut is nearly there, but i do find it a smidgen difficult to use the Up button ('natch) as well as the the main buttons (1 - 4). When I play a game like EA Sports Madden 2005, i find it much easier to take it out of the case.

Otherwise its held up ok.

One reason I opted for the Sena vs the EB Case was that the Sena one had a cut out for the HP Logo on in middle of the top of the device while the EBC didn't. While it has yet to be proven that there is any use for that logo (i.e. VOIP listening or something) i wanted to keep my options open.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with.

I ended up ordering the black EB case on 01/21. They are on backorder and from talking to them, it is because they are redesigning the case apparently. I only found that out from contacting them a couple days because they already took my money for the case. I am not really happy with their lack of keeping the customer updated but I was happy enough with my previous eb case to hold out and wait for it. No eta on when available, although when you contact them, I get the 'it should be in next week thing."They have not updated their website. Their website says in stock.

we shall see. I will let you know when I get it and maybe I can throw some pics on it. I write reviews for bostonpcoketpc.com when I can (have not in a while since last July because of work and stuff). I thought about doing a review on it, but have not decided on it because I guess it really is not new news. If the case has been re-designed, maybe I will.
