210 or 4700
for those who have had both, if you were to buy one today for the same price, which would you buy and why? Thanks!

If you play games or video I'd go with the 21x. It has a d-pad and a better processor for video (assuming you use CorePlayer).
Considering there's no warranty with the hx4700, that's another reason to go with the 21x.
WM6.1 is a consideration, but frankly I haven't been happy with the performance or reliability of the hx4700 with WM6.1. That's actually what prompted me to get a 21x (currently on order, waiting for it to arrive).

thanks for your thoughts. i'm wanting to upgrade for the bigger screen on the very long business trips but don't want to take a laptop. i use it for video and word, and powerpoint the most.

if HX4700 has bt version 2.0, I'd pick one up and install WM6 in a heartbeat
the 1.2 is pretty slow (500kbps at best), compared with 2.0 (up to 1300kbps)

I found the battery cover on the 4700 to be easily damaged if it was accidentally dropped. Got frustrated and switched to a Dell x51v the second time it happened.
Even with all of the little issues with the 210, I'm very happy to have it. Great screen, decent performance and I very rarely have to soft reset it!

And one more thing - hx4700 doesn't support SDHC cards even in WM6

honestly, I am not sure why one would go "backwards" in regards to the memory. The memory is key
