Seagate ST1.2 8gb

I foolishly purchased what I learned now is an OEM Seagate ST1.2 8gb cf drive. It was only like $20 so not worth returning, but anyways.. Has anyone had any experience with this drive in getting it to work in their ipaq?

Make sure you add a piece of tape to it to remove it from the iPAQ. I have a Hitachi drive like this. It should simply plug in and be recognized. If it is not then chances are it is bad. The driver it uses is the atadisk.dll driver.

Would you be willing to reboot your iPAQ without the Seagate ST1.2 8 GB card and go to
HKEY_lOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Active and note the last key here.

Insert the Seagate ST1.2 8 GB card and you should see two new keys here. If you are using Resco Registry Editor you'll need to exit the program and restart it to see them. Could you please post the content of these keys?

Thanks
