Ok, first the unopened mail in the inbox disapearing, now I just realised that send mail doesn't get saved in the "sent mail" folder.

Lots of people seem to like flexmail but there's a warning on their website that's pretty disuasive for us ipaq 210 users.

Any suggestion of an email client that has actualy been tested?

I use Flexmail 4 on my HP Ipaq 211; previously used Flexmail 2007 and have had no problems at all. Before either product, used mail client - Outlook - already on device.

I've had much better results with email if I use Imap instead of Pop3

FlexMail will work if you do not have attachments or messages larger then about 200K Any thing larger then that will cause problems with FlexMail on a 21X or a 11X.
The older version of FlexMail did work for me but have not used it in a while.

Flexmail works great on my Ipaq 210 with Yahoo mail pop3. With Gmail I have to use IMAP interestingly I can send via pop3 but can't receive on pop3.

FlexMail is great until it falls over; you'll need to reinstall it and download everything again if it fails.
FM 4 has only crashed catastrophically once for me but it regularly locks up with the spinning 'wait' icon showing. I have to kill it before I can continue working.
I consider myself an e-mail power user and sometimes need to carry 1000s of messages. FM crashes too often to be my only solution. Note that the built-in client isn't that much more stable in my experience. I use IMAP, so that my mail is relatively safe, and I have qMail loaded as a backup. Despite the appearance of the site, qMail is excellent, and did I mention that it's free? It's here ƒ_ƒEƒ“ƒ��[ƒh.

Profimail works great for me. I use it with gmail (imap) and have no problem with attachments.
