FYI: HP/Veo SDIO swivel cameras + iPAQ 210

When I install the 2003 drivers for the HP or the Veo swivel SDIO cameras (I have both in case one breaks down) and insert one into the SDIO slot, the iPAQ 201 reacts with "a problem has occured with device.exe"

I was able to use the 2003 drivers (no update since then) in WM5 on the Axim x50. But the iPAQ 210 is WM6. And VGA rez.

HP tech support's response was to exchange the 210 for another, but I am skeptical. And so is the store I bought it from (Softpocket.ca)

After talking to HP Tech Support again today, they tell me that the most up-to-date driver available for the HP Photosmart Mobile Camera is WM2003, which is why it is not compatible with the iPAQ 210.

How hard would it be to write a WM6 iPAQ 210 compatible driver and software for this SDIO camera? How would I go about finding & hiring someone to update the driver and software? What would such a job cost?
