HI all, im having a really bad week, i hurt my back at the weekend and have been in bed ever since. so have ben relying on my pda for entertainment....

Well i WAS.. it locked up after a day (maybe 5 hours) of checking my mail and using the net on and off.. so i reset it. i cant remember exactly what happened. but after i reset it it just wasnt working right. so i hard reset it. which was fine for a while.

then i reinstalled a couple of things and it locked up again. now after more hard resetting/soft resetting etc.. it still locks up, and sometimes after a soft reset it prompts to do the screen calibration again (i.e. it thinks its been hard reset).

also one time i soft reset it it came back and the screen looked ok, but when i tapped on screen the taps were upside down. by this i mean i had to tap bottom right to use the start menu, bottom left to close. etc. also the start menu only contained 3 items. none of which did anything.

anyone seen this before??
anyone got any advice??

just saw a u tube vid by Theemed. i think thats what happened to me first, so i hard reset etcetc..

it looks like it needs to go back then :-(

I guess the ROM image is corrupted.....
too bad there's no "cure" (no new ROM dl)
my situation is not bad as you, but the digitizer has some minor issue (hope I can adjust sensitivity)
PIE sucks, it freezes the unit by scrolling

i got onto hp support (the online chat thing) and they have picked it up for "fixing".. lets see if it works when it comes back.
