Stylus Broke

I have had my iPaq 210 for less than 6 months, and yesterday the top of my stylus just broke off in my hand.
I have had an Axim X50 for over four years and never had this problem.
I guess they just don't make things the way they used to.

I can't use the tiny styluses that come with pocket PC's these days anyway. I use me Cross Matrix combo pen - that includes a stylus tip. I get more accurate taps and a tool that I can actually use with a normal grip.

Thanks. I'll have to look for this. I found something like that, but it was really heavy. I'll look for the Cross brand one.

I am a lazy one
just use my fingernail instead, that the stylus keeps in place most of the time
and I have several styli for other models

I have a Parker 3-in-1 PDA pen/stylus. It's attached to my lanyard.
There are several sources of replacement styluses. There's a 3-in-1 that fits the 21x here iPAQ 200 Stylus / HP iPAQ 200 Stylus - Replacement Stylus Pen.
Is your stylus stuck in its silo? It can be teased out through the battery compartment. If you want to fix it, stick something into the tube of the stylus to improve the bond (perhaps a plastic cocktail stick.) Be wary that it might be difficult to remove if it breaks in the silo.

Mine broke in 3 months. Droped it on the floor (Just the stylus) and it broke.

I found a Cross Matrix and bought it. I like the feel and it is lighter weight than the one I had. Also one of my friends found a cheap generic plastic one at her work and picked it up for me. I will probably order a replacement from Boxwave so that I have something that fits in the currently empty silo. Thanks much for all your help and suggestions.
