Icon14 mugen battery with HP211

it's VERY EXPENSIVE (almost $50 from ebay) from vendor lionbattery
but it looks working pretty well, I can't give more opinion this time as I receive the battery yesterday
the power can go all the way down to 3% (critically low warning)
when using pocket player with wireless headphones (no internet connection, wifi is OFF), the power goes 1 percent point every 10 mins when screen is off, anticipate having about 16 hours 160-192kbps ogg play under the condition stated above
I may buy a couple more if I am really happy with it, don't settle for less

Mugen is normally a quality product. I find my Mugen HX4700 battery far outlasts my HP batteries. Glad to hear that hasn't changed.

This if from a different thread re: the Mugen battery.

Well I can confirm that I went from 6 hours to 10+ hours of time on the 211 with the 4400 mAh battery from Muggen. I had a full day of work (8 hours) and the battery still shows 2 hours left.

To recap what I did thanks to advice received here. I installed the new Sp36920 from HP that is supposed to allow the use of extended batteries. It didn't work until I deleted (renamed) the file BATTDRVR.dll then did a soft reset. This regenerated the old version of the .dll . So I got the changes to the registry of the sp but used the old driver. Stupid, but it works.

Now when I use the 211 without running bluetooth all day I get 12+ hours.

Pat

How much battery drain do you notice if you have the Bluetooth radio on?

So far I guess about 9+ hours if the bluetooth is on constantly. I typically work all day 8-9 hours but turn the bluetooth off during lunch or when I am not navigating, so it is a little hard to be real accurate. At the end of the day the meter shows 1-2 hours left.
