Anyone Install This Yet?

I downloaded the new version but haven't installed it yet; since I bought version 6.2, the upgrade to 6.5 is free after all. Has anyone else installed it and have some feedback? Is there any substantive difference that make it work the time and effort?

I have installed it on both my 210 and my Moto Q phone. The new interface is sleek. To do a backup, all you need to do is launch the program and tap Next.
I have done several backups, but I'm not planning to do a restore until I have to.

I have not yet received any emails about this, and their website seems to be in a state of disarray; the links point to 6.22 more often than not.

Rather disappointing.

I got the email a few days ago. It seems they always put the website update on the back burner and don't get in too much of a hurry to update it when a new version is released.

I've installed it on my x51v (upgraded from 6.2). Had to do the manual uninstall like always by removing all sprite stuff from the registry on pda and pc.

The interface is a little more up to date and as was mentioned above, has one-tap manual backups now, which I love (always thought it was kind of ridiculous to have to tap through 3 or 4 screens just to do a back up). On my device, I don't even have to tap next as was mentioned above. I just open the program and tap backup. Then the backup starts and goes through the entire process just like it did before. The first time I did a backup with 6.5, I went through each step so it would remember what to do from that point on. Now it's just one tap backups.

It doesn't seem any faster- takes the same amount of time to back up my 97MB worth of stuff.

I downloaded and installed Sprite Backup V6.5.

I also sent an eMail to Sprite.

I have daily scheduled backups, keeping three generations, so in a few days, provided the backups and retention function properly, I will hard reset and verify the restore capability of Sprite Backup V6.5.

I got the email a few days ago and installed it. The interface is completely redone. So far it works with the exception of the backup report doesn't show from the today screen notification. You have to go into the program history to see the results. Unfortunatly it is still ~6 times bigger that SPB Backup and Resco Backup.

I installed on my 210. I did the backup to the pc and sd card, worked pretty well. I did get the program report from my today screen that lists any issues, veiew report, click okay etc. I did not have to go into the sprite settings for it. so far so good.

I've been taking a close look, don't try it if you also have the latest SPB backup version installed, some conflict. Bigtime. It actually works really well on the x51 with WM5, not going to tr it with updated x51 roms!
