Mini USB Ethernet Adapter?

Is there any such thing as a mini usb ethernet adapter so that you can use wired access? I searched, but couldn't find anything.
Lots of hotels seem to be discontinuing wifi access in the rooms.

You may want to look for a cf ethernet adapter instead.

The biggest con is you lose your cf slot, but all of the mini usb ethernet adapters that google turned up seemed to have drivers for desktop/laptop version of windows and not windows mobile.

But, people have used cf ethernet adapters before and they have wm drivers.

According to this post, this is one of the only ones avaliable:
Socket Mobile 10/100 Ethernet CF Card

It has wm5 drives, not sure if they would work on wm6.

Spunker is quite right about the CF card.

Another option, and the one I use, is a small wifi router.
You can plug it into most hotel Ethernet sockets and you have your own wifi.

A colleague of mine uses this one.

And I have this one.

Dont you have to set up routers to work with a connection. I tried that once before, and my axim connected to my router, but then wouldnt go on the net.

Generally speaking, if the ethernet socket is connected to the internet, all you need to do is attach a wifi router to it and away it goes.

Some routers need to be configured, but the two I linked to in my post don't.
I have set up password wep etc on them and just take them wherever I go.
Only one hotel so far hasn't worked.
I also have a larger Buffalo turbo G, that I use if I want wired connections as well as Wifi. I work with a few people who don't have wifi on their laptops, or if I need to connect my network hard drive.

If the network you are connecting to has a more complex setup, then yes you will have to configure, but most hotels have a very basic system with a simple password, or often none at all.

Thanks for the info. I like the travel router idea and will probably pick one of those up.

If you connect a router to an existing (unknown) net there can be a DHCP conflict which may prevent your net access.

On travels I occasionally disable the DCHP and just use the router as a hub.
