new video playback problem

I just recently started getting choppy playback with my 211 (using core player). the settings are the same and i can't figure out the issue. soft reset is no help and there are no new programs installed plus i have over 80mb of free ram (that sure sounds nice). thanks for help!

Most probable causes:
- Change of video codec, like the switch, in Naruto and Bleach fansubs by Dattebayo, from XviD to H263
- Change of video storage medium, CF is way slower than SD or even more than local memory
- Something in the background which you may have allowed and you don't even remember having, but checking in settings>system>memory>running programs would solve the problem
- Try playing with plain TCPMP to see what happens just for the sake of it?
