What I am asking (which I stated above) is, is anyone is using this combination now?

I assume it would since there are drivers for the WM versiuon of the treo, but I do not want to go through the return process hassle should it not work.

Well, I ordered it anyway for that price. Plus I had a coupon code so I got it for cheaper anyway. The Palm Window mobile drivers will not install because the ipaq 210 is not compatible with its list of Palm compatible devices. However, from my research before ordering, I believe Freedom Input actually manufactured it. I downloaded the driver from their site and the keyboard works. I have verified typing and the start and arrow menu button operation. I have not had a chance to see if any shortcut keys can be programmed. The typying is obviously the big deal here and that works. I could not resist the price, as I got it less than $39.00 which also included the tax and shipping.

Are you using the IR version with the X5 as the X5 does not have BT. Or are you using the BT version of the keyboard that I just bought with a BT card in the X5.

And to be clear the softare from the palm website for the Bluetooth keyboard DOES NOT LOAD on the ipaq 210 as I stated before, but there are alternatives.

I recently upgraded from a Treo 700wx to a Samsung Saga. I would like to continue using my Palm BT keyboard. Which "stack" did you use on your ipaq 210? If possible, please provide the link for the drivers from Freedom Input. Thank you for your time.

Here is the main link. go to the techncal supprt page to find your driver and install setup. You may need to experiement with a couple on your device, not sure.

Freedom Input Ltd - Home

I do not remember what stack I used. I do know that when I went to install the driver, I had to pick the stack in a dropdown on the PC before it installed. I went to the ipaq and found what stack was listed for the ipaq BT to what was being offered and selected a match. I am assuming you will need to do the same thing.
