Hi - I'm new to the site and have browsed a few threads but can't find an answer to my question so far. I have got an Ipaq 212 with CF & SD cards installed. I'm running a few different GPS programs to just try them out and see which is the best. :)
I am getting a problem with Route 66 v7. I have got it installed on the
SD card and if I start it I get an error message saying "one or more files is missing". Thing is, there are no files missing? If I pop out the
CF card it starts and runs no problem. :rolling:
I have another GPS program installed on the CF card called Sygic McGuider. It is loaded on the CF card with a folder called Maps (containing its maps of course) sitting on the root.
What I think is happening is when Route66 loads it scans all cards and finds the folders that are related to Sygic and thinks they belong to it, therefore giving the error message.
Now that is all a bit long winded but what I really want to know is there any program that can be used to prevent something from looking at the "other" card when it loads? Some kind of launcher or something?
Other than that I will have to keep popping out the CF Card when I want to run R66.
Any answer muchly appreciated.
