We have recieved a new iPaq 214 running windows mobile 6. Unfortunetly some software that we need to run on this iPaq will not work. I know it works on Pocket PC 2002. Is it possible to downgrade the O/S on the new iPaq and if it is where can I get the Pocket PC 2002 O/S.

The software you're trying to run doesn't have a newer backward-compatible version??? What software you trying to run?

There is no way to downgrade the OS on you Ipaq. I've seen a used hx4700 for sale here that you might check out if you really realky must use that old software.

The software is an auditing package that we have not used for a number of years but would like to use again.

It's not supported by anyone. We aquired it about 4 years ago and no work has been done on the programme to update it since then.

One of our programmers is going to take a look and see if he can do anything with it.
