Extended battery help

Ok...I have seen several post about using an extended battery for the 211. I bought the 4400 mugen...but for the life of me I can not figure out how to get the damn softaware to recognize the larger capacity...I tried the patch from HP but that was less than helpful...can some one point me to a link or step by step tell me how to fix this...getting 2 hours total for 80 bucks is a huge waste of money:(

This is not helpful, I know, but I inserted the Mugen extended battery onto the battery well, put the extended cover on (or otherwise it wouldn't fit) and then turned on the 211. There is nothing that acknowledges the different size, but the ipaq goes much longer without recharging.
