ActiveSync Explore blocked file copy transfer from pc

IPAQ 211
Active Sync 4.5.0 build 5096
Windows XP sevice pack3
When I open expore in active sync I can copy and move files from folders within the Ipaq, but not from the PC to the IPAQ, get the circle with diagonal line through it saying can't do that operation. Used to be able to transfer files (txt, PDF, JPG, etc just fine). Believe a work around is to copy files from PC to the sync folder on PC....... but used to be able to just copy directly from PC to the IPAQ

Anyone else having problems transfering files? I have not changed the translation rules or use a different cable....... can't think of anything new that would block file transfer pc to ipaq.

Active Sync does recognize on attachment and does sync my pc to the IPAQ, it is just the file explore/file transfer option that does not work from within Activesync

I have the same AS version you do and XP SP3 on my PC. I just did a quick test and can copy files to and from my X50. Sounds like some setup in your IPAQ is blocking files from getting in or our.

Try reinstalling ActiveSync. I recently started having problems with ActiveSync. I could sync files but I could not copy files to my pocket pc nor could I explore the files on the pocket pc from ActiveSync. Reinstalling ActiveSync fixed the problem.
