Excel spreadsheet problem

I’ve used my HP Ipaq 211 for about a year and a half now. Overall, it has worked very well. That is, until this morning. I was working on an excel spreadsheet and saved my work. I tried to open the next spreadsheet i wanted to work on, and it wouldn’t open. I tried to shut down the program and the machine wouldn’t let me. The only way to get rid of the excel as a running program was to do a soft re set. I tried going to HP and to the microsoft websites to see what my next move should be (download some new driver? Download a newer version of excel?) but i couldn’t get an answer.

Any free advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

You don't say if the spreadsheet opened after the soft reset, so one assumes that you can't access it. A couple of options:
  • Drag the file back to your PC and repair any "damage" before sending it back to the pda
  • Try opening the file with SpreadCE which is a better application anyway
Hope this helps.
