files larger than 400mb

hi every one, i´m new in the forum.
I wish that we can help together to achieve the same objective.
EXCHANGING odd situations with our devices.

My first doubt is this one: I had for about 5 years the legendary Hx4700, then i sell it, and bought the ipaq 214 a few days ago.
I keep the CF card from HX 4700 a 4GB and put a micro sdhc 16gb with an adapter on the sd card slot. I noticed big diferençes between the to devices.
One of them is when i copy files larger than 400mb, from the desktop to the device or if i copy from the cf slot to the sd slot it´s very slowly (for example
a file with 689mb takes almost 2h), this is normal ?
I already donwload the update from hp and made a hard reset but stays the same.
I think that there is somekind of problem with some DLL on windows.
In the hx 4700 i recorded big files in laptop direct to the cf card, because the hx4700 was usb 1.0 and took to long to record files, but now i think that i have the same problem now.

If your using activesync to transfer files, its really slow. Since your working with memory cards, get a good usb card reader. It should be usb 2.0 and be pretty fast.

Thanks for the tip. But i don´t think that is the problem, because if disconect the ipaq 214 from the desktop and simple copy a file larger than 400mb from cf to sd or vice versa and the problem remains.
And in this case activesync is not working.
Besides that files under 400mb with or without active sync stays at decent rate.
