IPAQ 2215 ka-put

I upgraded to Axim, passed on the Ipaq to high school daughter. She tells me one day, it wont start. I cannot make anything happen, is this a common style of death for 2215's?

any suggestions to revive it.....or should i look to upgrade again ;o)

thx in advance!

Sounds like a completely exhausted battery. Have you plugged it into AC power for several hours to see if the battery will charge? If the battery is really low, it may take a few hours before you see the amber battery light blink.

Icon14 no more ka-put!

Thanks, actually that was it....and in turn learned the DC power supply to the cradle is what is ka-put. She inherited two batteries with it, and I was going on the assumption "one" has to still be good. Changed the power source, and charged a battery, now learning both are good.....and throwing away bad Ac adapter.

Thanks for the input! Daughter got her PDA back, and the new high school musical came out tonight.........she is floating around the house!

I love this site! There are 100 reason still in my wallet tonight, for not having to replace that PDA :approve:
