ok i bought a ipaq h2210 used from somebody and he deleted the driver for the wifi card so he could sell it and i put the card in the slot and it says the unreconized card error so i get an sd card but i don't know how to do it but i put the setupon the card then i put it in the sd slot and then on the ipaq and i tap on setup.exe and it says its not a valid pocket pc application and the memory part of the card doesn't show up.so does anyone know if i set it up on my computer or the ipaq and if anyone knows what im doing wrong it would really help
i don't have a cord to connect the pocket pc to the computer thats the problem i only have the sd card.im wondering how to get it onto the sd card then on the pocket pc.

you need to get the correct driver for the card from the card manufacturers website in cab format another option run the setup on your pc then find the cab file it will place in the relevant folder usually under activesync and the program name put that on the sd card use file explorer to find the file tap on it it should install the driver take the card out put it back soft reset your device
C'mon Box. It's not fair to ridicule someone like that.
dmad:
Since, it is a driver, I cannot extract a .cab out of the .exe installer.
Sandisk only provides .exe installers. Here is the download website.
I believe the only way to get the driver installed is a cradle or sync cable.

I answered his question in the same way he asked it, that isn't ridicule, I was just pointing out how difficult it is to read something without punctuation.

When you run the setup, exe on your PC you will find a new folder in you program files called SanDisk.
In that folder you will find another one called Low power 128mb......
Try copying the contents of that folder you your SD card and see if that will work for you.
There is a virtual driver in that folder and several other bits and pieces.
ok thanks i got the driver on it but i go to settings system and i see wifi settings and i tap it and i goes to it really quik then it goes back to the regular settings but it reads it now
