I kinda misplaced my docking cradle for my ipaq 2210, so I bought a travel-kit for the power supply. So good so far. Thought I had it all covered with getting a bluetooth dongel too... but no such luck.

I can't get it to connect to active sync via bluetooth. Followed all the helpfiles, and it still won't budge.

Could someone please walk me through this, with babysteps preferably

It really annoys me to bits, that I can transfer files to and from my ipaq via bluetooth, so my pc 'sees' it... it's just active sync that flatly refuses.

You need to match the com port you connect to on the PC in Activesync settings...
