Hi all,

My 2210 will occasionally short itself out when I connect the cable up or when I place it in its cradle. When that happens, everything gets erased. I've learned to keep a recent backup available, but it's annoying when it happens especially because it suddenly drains the battery and the unit then needs a recharge.

It actually doesn't matter if the other end of the cable is connected. I've looked at the pins to see if there's a potential short there, but I can't see anything wrong.

I'm posting this on the off chance that someone here may have encountered this problem and found a solution. Otherwise, the PDA works just fine and holds a good charge for 5-8 hours of continuous use.
