Dead 3835 after failed flash...
Any suggestions on how to resurrect this unit? I can put it into USB Update mode via the hardware buttons, but I can't get the unit to come up to establish the preliminary connection to the update software. Is there any way to trick the software into not checking connectivity before starting the flash? (I.e., bypassing the initial check, and going straight into the flash download?)

TIA,
-Mouser

Hi this might be a bit late, but i managed to trick my ipaq to update without activesync. I have written this document & recommend that you give it a go. Obvoisly you do so at your own risk, but it might work for you. PLEASE feel free to pass this info on, as i have a fealing that ipaq users are being ripped off paying to have thier roms re-flashed when you can do it on your own computer without activesync.
