Is it dead
Help i gave my sister my old h3630 and the screen dose not work no more!!!! is there any way to fix this HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can send it to either HP or PPCTechs for repair but the repair cost would be rather high. The money spent to repair the device could be used to invest in another PPC.

I see that on the PPCTechs site it is onley if the whole screnn is broke, my sisters ppc is only not responding to screnn taps???

Sounds like the digitizer is broken (the sensor that responds to screen taps). If it is, it would be much cheaper to put that money towards a cheap new iPAQ for your sister. Maybe a used 1910? That should run you about the same price as the screen (in the $150 dollar range).

Unless you've been robbed and the iPAQ taken, I doubt you would find any way of getting the insurance company to pay for a new iPAQ.

Also try aligning your screen. This can help when your screen is not responding to screen taps.

Goto Start -> Settings -> System -> Screen and click on Align Screen button.

Just a question to you Ted...how can you get to the Align Screen page if you can't use the stylus to click on anything? The only thing I could think of was a hard reset because there is a hard reset at the beginning of setup.
