Hello everyone, im glad i found this site. I hope someone can give me a solution to this problem. I have a 3835 and no longer have the cradle just a travel charger, the usb cable. Unfortunatley they both plug to the same port, im trying to use the rom update from the HP website, but it asks me to plug in the charger before continuing....... well, i would rather not buy another charger just to flash my rom. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

There are no sugestions available for your problem. If you want to update your ROM you need the cradle. Sorry.

I would suggest if you cannot get a cradle then to get a sync/charge cable. There is one available for your device here. This should work for you if the upgrade program is trying to detect that your device is receiving power while sync'ed.

But if you use a sync/charge cable, your device doesnt receiv power while sync´ed. With this kind of cable you can not do both things at the same time. I tried to update with a USB cable and it didnt work.

Sorry again but you need a cradle.
