IP address of a usb connected 3630?
Hey there guys, I was just wondering if when connected to usb using activesync, does the Ipaq get a network pingable ip address, so I can say use the internet by way of my laptop which is directly connected to my adsl router?

Id like to know also for other things such as being able to have my ipaq come up in the network neighbourhood, and having my laptop viewable by the ipaq in a network.

Im not in the market for a 10/100 compact flash card,as the ipaq has only the one slot and thats in use. Thanks for any help in advance

If you are connected via USB/activesync to a computer that is connected to the internet then your ipaq while be connected to the internet, using a pass through connection.

As far as I am aware its not possible to make a Pocket Pc appear in the network neighbourhood of a PC, I also believe that it is not possible to make a direct network connection from PPC to PPC via WIFI

anyone got any thoughts on this ?
