Hi all,

Kind of a newbie here. I recently purchased an IPAQ 3850. What do I need to buy in order to have wifi and internet access on it? It has what looks to be an SD slot. I've seen SD cards on ebay but they seem expensive. Is there anything else?

Also, it seems it won't take SDIO cards, is that possible?

you'll need an ipaq expansion pack and a compact flash wireless card. From what I can tell, your device doesn't support SDIO so the SD wifi cards are out of the question.

UPDATE: Your ipaq can take SDIO cards upon further google'ing so you're good to go with SD wifi cards. Stay away from Sandisk Wifi + 128 or 258MB memory built-in. Those cause a lot of problems.

So all these CF expansion sleeves that are sold on ebay would support a CF wifi card which are relatively cheaper than the SD cards
