hi, everyone. Any advise is greatly appreciated. I'm currently using ipaq 3730. I've just changed into a brand new battery about a month or so. Today, the backlight died on me. no matter how i reset it, tap on the screen, switch it on to maximum backlight.. nothing works. I suspect the backlight has blown. can anyone suggest what i can do with it? Is it possible to extract the backlight from a 36xx ipaq to fix onto it?

Hi irorus. Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear baout your problem. I took a look over at PocketPCTechs to see if they sold a backlight and they don't. They offer full service repairs to the touchscreen and LCD panel. I am not sure if you get a device for parts from an auction site you could service it your self. The backlight might be integrated into the LCD in such a way you can't just replace it. Maybe some one else can shed more light (no pun intended).
