3660 / Orinoco Gold / A-Link Roadrunner WLAN prob
Hi all,

So I have the above combination. I have managed to get it to the point where it gets an IP from the A-Link WLAN ADSL, and gets thru the WEP with the password and all, but no traffic gets by. What should I change in the ipaq settings to get it to go thru? It is a B/G station I tune to, and it's a B card in the iPAQ.

Thanks a lot!

Check your router settings and make sure you are in "mixed mode" and not set to "G mode".

Good point, but no cigar...
Thanks for the effort,

I checked and it was in mixed mode. Just to be sure, I set it to B Only and restarted the router, but to no avail, I still get IP, I get great reception, I get everything except Internet content.

Check the connection settings on the Ipaq - make sure both drop-down menus are set to connect to "Work".

I've always been a bit fuzzy on the connections... ahem
Please describe for me what I should have in the three dropdowns. There's two of them that can be modified, but I must have mistakenly edited them useless, because I have no Work entry in the upper two. In the last one that says 'My network card connects to' I have the options Internet and Work.

So, what should I have as the content of the top two?

I appreciate the time and effort you are investing!
