is 2gig card compatable with 3835
i have a 3835 and a 2 gig sd card will it work do i need difrent drivers or any thing

I think the 3835 and the 3850 is so similar that you may find the answer in the thread regarding this.

i have 3835 great lil guy it was my first pocket pc sold it and bought it back when i broke the screen on 2495 that was a year ago im having trouble though i use it as a fancy ipod. i have a movie or to and lot of music and i use the calender a lot as well as contact the trouble is that a good bit of my music wont play. it play on there before and i swaped songs a round now i put about 1250 megs worth on my sd card and it will play them all except the last 50 to 75 songs it just skipps them like they are dead files. when i check in file explorer they are the and the sizes of the file are correct. and i can play from my sd card in my pc.

i dont under stand this please help

I've seen this question a time or two since I've tried to use a 2GB SD card with my iPAQ 3850. I actually get an error code 29/30 when I tried to read/write to the SD card past the 1GB mark.

From what I can find, the iPAQ 3800 series (and I assume this applied to the 3600 series), used an MMC controller to access the SD. At the time, 256MB was an expensive card (think 2002) and HP apparently only tested and supported upto 256MB. However, the SD cards seem to work upto 1GB. Likely based on old standards, I doubt these older iPAQ can use >1GB SD cards.
