Hi. I recently got as a gist a used ipaq 3970 with bluetooth and wanted to upgrade to PPC 2003 since i need it for my GPS nav software. I dont have the cradle only the usb cable i bought thats the original USB cable with car adapter that charges the ipaq and hit the switch and it syncs witht he PC but stops charging, It wont do both at the same time. The 3900 Rom updater tell me to have the usb cable and the AC charger pluged in but since i dont have teh cradle thats a problem. My question is will the USB cables they sell off ebay that sync and charge at the same time work to upgrade my ipaq?
