Ipaq 3850 -w- Navman 3450

I just bought an Ipaq 3850 from E-bay and nearly have everything installed, the only thing I'm having trouble with is registering the old software my computer say's "internet connection not available", but it is and I'm on the internet even while I'm trying to register. I tried the information they tell you on Navman site and opened secure TT port 433 or whatever it was, and checked the on line register but there is no (STdesk) ? option to be found anywhere!!! I hope someone can help
Thanks

The Navman jacket should work well with your 3850, but the SmartSt software V1 is no longer supported by Navman. You still have options though. Navman support was offering a newer version at half price for owners of the 3000 series sleeves, or you could go with TomTom. I have used both ver 5 and 6 of Navigator with no problems.

Dear Dublin
I have exact same configuration but I can't get GPS to signal - can you tell me how you set up your Ipaq and Navman sleeve?
Thank you in anticipation.
