Sorry about the NEWB question...
I am completely new to the PPC world and have a big question...

On the new Windows Mobile 2003 can you browse all of the internet just as you would on a desktop PC... If I have a WIFI connection of course. Or is the pocket internet more like special WAP pages similar to cell phones?

Hope that made sense. Thanks all! Can't wait to get one of these.

Also, I know this is the HP forums... but any opinions you guys want to throw at me on this subject would be appreciated:

hey course you can browse the whole internet

BUT.......some (most) pages dont display well on the small screen so wap or sites written specifically for the pocket pc are usually best.

Hope this helps

You can browse the internet just like any PC but not all sites are PPC friendly.

In regard to the Axim X3i , view this thread:

No it doesn't (as far as I know). You will have to download it and installed it.

I bought a 4150 last week, after having a Dell Axim X3i on trial for a week -- and reading several reviews I found on the Internet. You can search using Goodle, check out this forum , and also http://www.aximsite.com

I enjoyed trying the X3i - but it doesn't support Bluetooth (from approx May 2004) - which was very important for me. I think the X3i had more memory than the 4150, and was quite a lot cheaper too.

However, the 4150 comes with more standard apps - but I couldn't tell you what they are... maybe HP Printing was one of them...!

I'm sure you will be happy with either unit to be honest.
