wi-fi problems in logging on

I am having a problem logging on using wi-fi. Every time I try to log on I have to go to settings and put in my password. It seems that ever time I try to connect the password I have entered is doubled, ie, instead of xyz it becomes xyzxyz. What am I doing wrong

you tried using PocketWinC, much prefer it over the standard wifi app.
