Remote Control
Has anyone been successful with their 4150 and the remote control software? If so which one was used and is it worth it? I have tried Nevo and Vito but cannot get either of them to work so was trying to find diffrent options or if anyone was able to get Nevo to work.

Nevo????

Nevo doesn't come standard in ROM on the 4155. How did you get Nevo on there?

I think the best RC app for the 4000 series is the Total Remote, You have to plug an adaptor into the headphone jack so that the signal is strong enough. The IR port on the 4100 is on the bottom of the unit and the IR port for the 4300 is on the side and neither are CIR like the 2200.

Whitelyt,
I obtained a copy of both and wasn't successful with either. I know neither come installed on the ROM. I just emailed Griffin to make sure my 4150 is compatible with the Total Remote and for $24.95 you can't beat it if it is, it comes with the extender and the software.

Nevo
You can load Nevo on the 4155 but it won't work since Nevo requires a special chip inside the iPAQ and the 4155 doesn't have it.

I recall that my 3955 had the Nevo hardware and software.

The IR port of the 4155 is very weak and hardly fit to use as a remote control device.

Yeah, the IR port on the 4155 is on the side, making it hard to use as a remote for one thing.

Also, the 4155 doesn't have the strong CIR inside it, otherwise I'm sure the port would be on the top so that you could use it as a remote.

Unfortunately, no remote for you?

Nope, it's on the bottom You'd need an upside down skin.

Hmm...I wonder why I thought it was on the side. I guess it was just a simple mistake, the 1900 series has it on the left side, and their form factors are the same, guess I just had a little mix up. Sorry about that.
