1800 mAh battery
Anyone know where to get an 1800 mah battery for my 4150? Are they the biggest? Does anyone have one and do they last longer?

The reason I want one is because using wifi really drains my battery. Whats the difference between auto and extended on the wifi battery saving mode.

Thanks

It would seem like to me you would get more than 3 hours being online using a 1800mAh battery. It seems like you don't have your PPC setup for maximum battery efficiency.

I have also seen them at CompUSA, Keep in mind that it does change the appearance of the device you end up having a bulge in the back to accomodate the bigger battery

whitelyt, what settings do you suggest for longer battery, and online time??

Yes, it does add bulk to the iPAQ with the extended battery, but I find it easier to hold.

There are small things that you could do to improve that battery life. On my 2215 (which has a 900mAh) battery, I can get between 5 to 7 hours depending on my usage without charging. I have done things like turning off incoming beams so that my IR port is not always active. I have also tweaked my backlight settings on battery to the most dimmest setting possible while still being comfortable to view and read. I have also tweaked my standby settings (not sure if this is on the 4155). The Lith-ION batteries behave better when fully charged so I keep my 2215 on the charger whenever I can. I also turn off my backlight automatically if idle for 3 minutes. I keep my BT radio off at all times until I need it.

This seems to work well for me and my usage. I also use OC software to autoscale my processor for heavy gaming and watching movies. For the most part if I underclock my processor then that also saves some battery life.
