You have definitely brought up another reason why I purchased an ipaq and sold the X3i. I purchased an X5 and then an X3i and had to purchase new travel cables. If I would have known the X3i was going to fall apart on me I would not have bothered.

This thread is the major eason I did not order a Dell X3i. Although I cannot really afford it nor justify it, I recently purchased the 415x from CompUSA this weekend-6 months no interest-no payments.

I have to hide it from the wife until I come up with a good reason for why I should own it :>.

I know all too well about hiding new toys from the wife.

Congrads on your decision. You probably just saved yourself one great big headache and extreme dissappointment. The ipaq 415x is an awesome machine. You will experience great satisfaction.

Yep - i've had mine for a few weeks now and am still very happy with it. When I had the X3i, after a couple of weeks, I had already started wondering whether I had made a mistake buying it over the 4155.

I found it was easier and cheaper to hide my wife from my gadgets, by getting a divorce.
