Hard reset 2 x per week !@#$%^&*()
For some reason I have to perform a hard reset on my 4355 a couple of times per week. Last night for example I used it to read web based email B4 going to bed and turned the power off. I woke up to an iPAQ that would not boot.

This first started a couple of weeks ago after I used an application called Qusnetsoft http://www.freewareppc.com/communica...wsreader.shtml .

The very first time I had to reloaded all of the applications manually because I didn't feel I had a recent enough backup. On subsequent instances I have restored from a backup file ... and although I don't lose anything it is a pain.

I have had my PPC for 6 months and prior to loading Quesnetsoft I never had to perform a hard reset. Any ideas

If you hard reset but DON'T install Quesnetsoft do you still have problems?

I have not had any problems with Quesnetsoft Reader... but then I must admit I do not use it often. If you believe there is an issue... I would write a brief outline of the problem and send it to the developer... Murray... is a very good developer who is always working on updating his work. If there is a problem contact him and I am sure he will work it out for you...

Leave a message here... it seems he responds to this board.

Yes ... I'm thinking there is some residue from Quesnetsoft that doesn't get removed during the program removal .

I posted some comments in the Microsoft.public.pocket PC newsgroup and did receive some response from the developer that wasn't helpful. Also, I noticed in that forum that a number of people have the similar problem with the product not working on a 4355 if you ever try to setup more than on NG.
