Bluetooth Audio on 4150
Hi.

I have managed to connected my 4150 to another audio bluetooth device (Parrot CK3300)...using the following instructions.
__________________________________________________ ______________
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Widcomm\BtConfig\Servi ces\0005\Enabled
Change value to 1.
It can paired but no sound.

To get the sound comes through, remember to change these also:
1) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev\Dll
Change value from wavedev.dll to BtCeIf.dll
__________________________________________________ ______________

My IPAQ shows the Audio device connected, the IPAQ sound is disabled, but I hear nothing over my car speakers.
Any ideas, or is this as far as any1 has got with this problem, as I read that 4150 has no bluetooth audio, since HP has taken it out.

Also, can someone tell me exactly what is the BtCeIf.dll, is it just a particular BT Driver? How is this different to Wavedev.dll.

Many thanks

The registry hack the you used has only been known to work on the h2215 and the h1940. I have not heard of any h4155 user getting this to work. The wavedev.dll and the BtCeIf.dll files refer to the audio output device.

It is my belief that HP only disabled the audio gateway bluetooth profile in the h1940 and the h2215 but did not include the audio gateway profile on the h4155. If this is true then you won't get it to work no matter what registry hacks that you try.
