Syncing Inbox, Calendar & Contacts from EXchange 2003
Hi!

Just bought a 4150 and can sync with my laptop OK via the cradle (the laptop's in a docking station) and have the WiFi access working so I can get onto the Internet etc, so I think the basics are working OK.

However when I run an ActivSync from the iPaq it shows a progress bar (x of y messages downloaded) but when the AS is over I can find no messages in my Inbox. I suspect I am missing something obvious here! :-)

Server is SBS2K3 with Exchange 2003.

Thanks for your help.

Welcome Ian,

I think you may have others stumped as well!

A few questions. Are your appointments and contacts doing the same thing?

Also double check the AS settings for the inbox. Activesync on the desktop click on the Options button, click on inbox and then Settings. The options there may need to be adjusted to avoid any exclusions.

Hi there,

I'm having a similar problem where I can sync to the PC in a cradle and can also access the internet from the Ipaq but cannot get it to sync to the Exchange server. It's SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003 . It's looks like it is gonna do some thing and then I get errors . Latest is HTTP_302 . My PC has XP SP2 and I think I have all the necessary ports open in the XP firewall to allow AS to get to the server .

Thanks for any help .

Ted,

Thanks.

Yes. Nothing (Inbox, Contacts, Calendar) syncs from Exchange, but everything syncs if I set it to sync with my laptop.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. The items seem to be copied, but they then don't show up......

Bizarre.
