Changing Which Apps are launched by Icons On Today Screen
I have installed PocketInformation 2005. I have changed my contacts, calendar etc.buttons so that they launch the right applications. But when I click the calendar or tasks icons on my today screen it still launches the built-in apps. How do I change this?

Hi CelticBlues. Open the Pocket Informant configuration tab and make PI the default PIM. That should do it.

Happy to have been of help. Someone on this site (Rob ) reminds me and others from time to time that PI has an outstanding user manual. It's the only way I ever figured out how to use some of the features. But like many, I only read it when all else failed. When you have time, you might want to check it out. For a PPC app, it is one of the best documented apps out there.

Absolutely... I printed it yesterday, bound it, and put it on my night stand for a daily perusal.
