i am in the process of buying a pair of decent headphones (beyerdynamic DT770)

i do a lot of remixes/recording on a PC homestudio, but would also like to use them with a portable player, i have an ipod but the battery is very poor now and i mostly use my ipaq.

due to the ohmage of the headphones (80ohms) i may need an amp to drive them as the ipaq headphone amp probably isnt powerful enough...

anyway! to get to the point, does anyone know any way of getting a true "line-out" from the ipaq as opposed to the headphone out.. with the ipod you have to use the dock or some sort of converter at the data connector of the ipod rather than using the headphone socket at all, i was wondering if there was anything similar for the ipaq...
