I'm not sure what happened, but I docked my 5555 to a pcmcia expansion jacket for the first time the other day. Since then, I cannot get the Wi-Fi adapter to activate. Tried soft resets, turning on and off the adapter via the software, and re-flashed the ROM update, with no joy. Any other suggestions before I hard-reset this puppy?

Take off the battery for about 30 seconds or so and reinstall it. That should fix the problem. Im not sure why I just know it works.

I originally read about it on another board. A guy at work had the same problem so we tried it and sure enough the Wi/Fi started working again
