I have a 5450 with ROM 1.00.45 that I need to upgrade to PocketPC 2003 in order to get it to sync with our Exchange 2003 server without using SSL.

I tried to order the upgrade CD from HP but they have been on backorder for some time, and the next "possible" shipping date for the CD is over a month away!!! I need the upgrade sooner than this or else I'll have to toss this device and use a Toshiba device instead.

Does anyone have an upgrade CD they can loan me or whatever files I need that I can download from somewhere? My unit qualifies for the free upgrade the only problem is that I can't get it from HP because they don't have any! Ugh!!!

I'm not asking anyone to do anything illegal, I'm just asking for help in getting my unit upgraded so I can continue to use it. You can reach me via email at skylineme@kc.rr.com

If you are still looking to upgrade, look at EBay and you will see a listing for the upgrade at $2.99 a bargain. It is sent to you online and installs easily. If you order, ask the seller to include in his transmission e-mail the instructions to upload. They are quite simple and easy to follow.
