Not that I know of...You can tweak your ppc though with various programs Tweaks 2K2 or Reg King and turn your PIE (currently 4.0 into 6.0) I am sure there are others...just google it...good luck

After the initial question posted, I got curious, whether I could make PIE appear as IE v6.0....As I posted before, I know there are tools like T2k2 and Reg King, among others, that will do the job. Question I have now is, whether these tools would be compatible with PIE add-ons (like MultiIE v3.1) that I already have installed???? on a PM conversation I was informed that maybe MultiIE would be able to do that, but I am not sure, could anybody please comment on this....thank you

Well,

I tried to do it with MultiIE v3.0 and asked for a soft reset before it made PIE appear as 6.0....I did it and although the PIE google page appeared different than before nothning else really seemed all that different .... I tried to open my gmail account with it and didn't go passed a blank page after I logged in (sucks) I also tried to open my yahoo account but wouldn't load anything.....has anybody tried to do this, any luck, any significant changes after a soft reset......

please comment...

I am running IE as v6.0 using MultiIE (which really doesn't affect anything since MIE uses the IE engine).

I have no problems whatsoever going to my.yahoo.com or rendering the same page using Skweezer.

Update:

I can now see my yahoo account with the tweak by MultiIE (turning my PIE to 6.0) However I still got a blank screen when trying to see my gmail on my pda...but on pocketthemes, I found this way to see your mails by allowing for pop3 thru the settings in your gmail account and using this in your PIE: http://mail2web.com/pda

Itseems safe enough....here is the link for their webpage: http://info.mail2web.com/About/

Thanks Bootboy. I think I will stay with the 4.0 inside my 5550. It is more of an inconviencience than anything else.
