Well...guess what ?

I got it to pull up my connection and the green light blinks. So it is saying it is connected.

But ...it never ends...Urghhhh

I go to Internet Explorer and it says:

Trouble Connecting

Unable to connect with current settings. To change your connection settings, tap settings.

But when I do this it takes me to the connections page. And i do not know what to do next. I tried to change the 3 blocks on this page but they do nothing. Is there something I have to set saying to connect with WLAN and not bluetooth ? Or is it something else ?

This is ridiculous...so close.

One more thing I have noticed. I am getting this bubble on my main computer saying:

Windows System Error

There is an IP Address conflict with another System on the Network

WOW....What a day.

I was meesing around and found that the IP address on the Ipaq was the same as the desktop. I changed the last digit and Walaa i am surfing the net.

I did not think I would ever get this going. I am afraid to touch it now. This has been an expierience that I will not forget.

Is all of these handhelds this much of a problem ? Do they make one that you can just buy open the box and do as you please ? Or all of them this time consuming ?

I thank you, Julie, for your help. And all the others that put in their suggestions.

Oh yeah one last question. What is the normal signal that it should have for connecting ? Mine only reads 37% and i am holding it 2 feet from the router. What would cause the low signal and how can it be corrected ?
