Aximsitex5icon Help !!

I Updated Rom with newer update on the ipaq 5555 it froze in the middle of update so I rebooted with hard reset now it only shows splash screen and then stops I tries Hard reboot hit buttons etc.. I think it may now be a fishing sinker any suggestions please let me know I called HP they said they wont help.

very likely it is a paperweight.
HP isn't going to help on an out of warranty device, as you have already learned.
there are a FEW ways of doing a flash from a SD card, but that typically requires the device to be prepped for that in advance... Your best shot for a resolution would be at XDA-Devs, but I'd not put lots of effort into it.

If you were installing the update from a Vista computer, you need to try installing it from an XP computer. None of the updates that are posted for this device are compatible with Vista.

If you were installing the update from an XP computer, try the procedure described in this link to see if it will restore your device to working order.
