5555 battery and bluetooth issues

First, the battery issue. I let the main battery run down and now it won't charge. Not at all. I bought another standard battery and it won't charge. At all. I have a 2600mAh battery and it charges just fine. When I first got the replacement battery and plugged it in, the orange charge light briefly flashed and that was it. Any thoughts on this?

Another battery issue is I thought the internal backup battery was supposed to keep the RAM stable while you swapped batteries. True or not? Every time I switch batteries, I have to initialize the system again and re-run my backup to install the stuff I use.

Second, the bluetooth issue. Any time I try to enable (turn on) the bluetooth, my system hangs and the only way to get it back is to remove the battery. A soft reset just restarts the system with the bluetooth still hung up. I have installed the ROM update but no luck there.

Thanks for any help you can give. HP didn't want to talk to me.

Fixed the sync problem. I rebooted my laptop and sync started working again.

Bluetooth still freezes the PDA. Also, battery connection is a bit flaky. Sometimes just picking up the unit causes the PDA to shut down.
